--Spending all the salary (¥2000), realised a backpack journey which covered all the major cities in Eastern China, lasting for over 30 days and across over 2000 miles, to broaden my perspective

2012: Elected as a committee member of 2013 Imperial College Computing Student Workshop (ICCSW 2013)

2012: Elected as the Chief Public Relationship Officer of the Chinese Students and Scholars Association, Imperial College (CSSA-IC)

2007-2008: Elected as the president of the Rollerblade Society with a unanimous vote

2008: organized an influential Rollerblade Festival, which:
 --Attracted over 300 candidates from six universities
 --Won sponsorship valued at ¥10,000 (¥300-1000 is the norm) and other support from the largest local rollerblade club, Coca-Cola and eleven other societies, etc.
 --I was honored to give opening speech with Pro-Vice-Chancellor
 --
Proposed the Discrete & Dynamic Leadership mechanism to improve organization efficiency 

2008: Enhanced cooperation with Coca-Cola by leading the society to be a torch escort team on their behalf during the National Olympic Torch Relay event

Research/Project Experience:

2011    MSc Project: Cloud Pricing Models – Distinction 
--Proposed a systematic theory to instruct cloud computing firms in optimizing pricing strategies in both standard and spot markets under various circumstances.
--Developed a number of mathematical models to simulate market situations.
--Implemented a Spot Pricing System which has been adopted and is now running on top of Imperial College Cloud Platform (IC-Cloud) and its commercial versions: theory’s practical value proved.

 2010    Internship Project: Novel Approaches to Radiotherapy Planning and Scheduling in the NHS
--A large-scale project carried out by both University of Nottingham and Nottingham City Hospital
--Project combines Case-Based Reasoning approach and Fuzzy Set theory, where my role was to develop/improve the core case similarity measure algorithms and a learning mechanism

2009-2010    Undergraduate Final Project: Cloud Computing and Quasi-Cloud Computing – First Class 
--Clarified the concept of cloud computing with both economic and technological perspectives
--Implemented a quasi-cloud media converter to assess five technological features of cloud
